Health insurance was introduced as a separate
category of products in 2010, and includes personal
accident insurance, medical expenses insurance and
health care insurance. Similar to life insurance
products, the rules, terms and premium rates that
apply to the health insurance products must be
ratified by the MOF before being offered in the
market.
